Ogless

The Quaternion fractal is the slowest effect we offer currently, a fast processor at full tilt takes a fair old time to produce the complete image. The wait however is worth it. Intricate details are produced like some mossy lifeform and yet a few spirals here and there giveaway the fact that it is indeed a fractal.

I call this the 'cauldron' as it looks to me like some egg shaped vessel on four legs, however that does not explain the other bits. The gradation of color tone gives it a real warm luminance. Its fractal nature is not hard to spot though.

Sometimes in graphical effects, less is more. I'm not a great fan of CGI when it used to create unrealistic looking walls and landscape.

Back in the 1970s there were viruses written that mangled the contents of the screen to make it look as though it was melting. Fortunately Ogless provides this effect without any ill effects to your PC. It takes an arbitrary scene - in this example the desktop background - and melts it.
Ogless is a general scene generator.
It draws and generates new patterns and images as it runs - it is not a series of static pictures.
Ogless achieves the trillions of possible variations by using a range of effects all of which have lots of variability
(color, shape, position, size, speed). We no longer offer the screen saver as a product but can offer the image generator, just contact us for details.
Fractal patterns form the backbone of Ogless's image generator, and we have developed more than a dozen variants of the original
fractal algorithm to generate images. Please visit our Gallery to take a closer look.
