Ogless

Ogless can generate an infinite number of 'tartan' weave patterns. The program choose a set of colors, strip widths and sizes each time it runs..

The 'toner' effect is one of those deceptively simple Ogless effects that can often bedazzle you. Gradually parts of the screen are changed. In this case the colors of a moorland scene have been gradually made bright and surprisingly evocative.

Vista comes with a standard screensaver which will swizzle a single string around in 3-D for you, but you are stuck with the same text every time until you get around to changing it. Ogless was designed with variability in mind so that you get a different effect each time without you needing to touch anything.

With the 'arrange' effect you can play the game of guessing what the screen original screen looked like before Ogless started. After running for an hour or so all the individual pixels of the original image get re-arranged according to their color.
Ogless is a general scene generator.
It draws and generates new patterns and images as it runs - it is not a series of static pictures.
Ogless achieves the trillions of possible variations by using a range of effects all of which have lots of variability
(color, shape, position, size, speed). We no longer offer the screen saver as a product but can offer the image generator, just contact us for details.
Fractal patterns form the backbone of Ogless's image generator, and we have developed more than a dozen variants of the original
fractal algorithm to generate images. Please visit our Gallery to take a closer look.
